ESPRM Special interest scientific committee on PRM and children

Dear friends and colleagues involved in PRM and children facing a cerebral palsy,

Professor Dominic Pérennou, editor in chief of Annals of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine asked us to guest edit a special issue of the journal entitled "Exploring cerebral palsy" planned for the first semester of 2019. This issue will include cutting-edge knowledge helping the understanding and treatment of children and adults with cerebral palsy.

The special issue "exploring Cerebral palsy" will include 1 editor, 2-4 systematic reviews and 6 to 8 original articles. The topics can be movement, imaging, EMG, sensors, physiology, evaluation, therapies,... Translational research coming from international collaborations will be favored.

The Annals of PRM is the official journal of the French Society of PRM (SOFMER) published in association with the International Society of PRM (ISPRM) and the UEMS-PRM Section. Referred in Pubmed since 2002 and very recently in the Journal of Citation Report (Journals with an Impact Factor), its readership is international with more and more citations from the highest level journals such as Lancet and NEJM.

You can submit your proposal including title, list of authors and affiliations, a synopsis of 200 words (aims, methods, obtained or expected results) at sylvain.brochard@chu-brest.fr before the 15th of December 2017. Articles must be finalized including the review process before the 31th of December of 2018. A pre-content will be established in January 2018.

We hope that would find this special issue as an opportunity to give your research on cerebral palsy a high visibility.
