The European Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ESPRM) in the 32nd Congress of the French Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (SOFMER)

The ESPRM was involved in the “Best of Posters” session in the SOFMER Congress which was held in Nancy, France on October 5-7, 2017. The ESPRM was represented by two members, Prof. Thierry Lejeune and Prof. Aydan Oral, as the members of the Jury along with two representatives from each French scientific societies including SOFMER, COFEMER (Collège Français des Enseignants Médecine Physique et de Réadaptation), and AJMER (Association de Jeunes en Médecine Physique et Réadaptation).

The “Best of Posters” session, the Joint session SOFMER, COFEMER, AJMER, and ESPRM on October 6, hosted seven presentations by trainees. The winner was Dr. Charles Pradeau with the presentation entitled “Concurrent validity of footswitches analysis for the measurement of temporal gait parameters” based on the Jury’s assessment regarding quality of the abstract, scientific interest of the work, and quality of the oral presentation.

The ESPRM congratulated the winner and the head of the department in which this significant research activity has been conducted.

The ESPRM will be honored and interesting to participate in such sessions in future PRM congresses.
